After THE VOICE auditions. Michelle Renee was discouraged. Michelle Renee expressed to Madniss, her husband, that maybe she shouldn't sing anymore. Madniss encouraged Michelle Renee to keep singing and audition for a Karaoke All Star Competition. Michelle Renee's audition went well and she was placed in Round 2. Michelle Renee was one of the finalist in her round and continued onto the finals. Michelle Renee was competing against well known and talented artist in the metroplex. Michelle Renee perfected her performance set of "I'm going down" by Mary J Blige and "Emotional Rollercoaster" by Vivian Green, and went onto win the Finals, $1000 cash prize and a management deal with EQ Entertainment. This was the push that Michelle Renee needed to keep singing. After her management deal expired with EQ Entertainment, she continued working on her craft and building her brand JUSTNAEMUSIC.
